How the AI trip planner works
1. Tell us the basics
Destination, how many nights, your budget level, pace and what you enjoy. Add food or accessibility needs so the plan fits you.
2. Get a draft itinerary
A morning, afternoon and evening plan for every day, with rough costs, getting-around notes, a budget table, local dishes and tips.
3. Check, tweak and book
Rewrite any day, print it or add it to your calendar, then use our hotel, flight, bus and car searches and the budget, weather, visa and packing tools.
What you get in every plan
- A day-by-day schedule grouped by area, so you spend less time in transit.
- A per-person budget estimate by category, in the currency you choose.
- Local dishes to try, linked to our Food Atlas when we have a page for them.
- Best-time notes for your month, and practical tips on transport, etiquette and money.
- Shortcuts to hotels, flights, buses, vacation rentals and car rental.
Related tools: trip budget calculator, weather check, visa checker, packing list.
Frequently asked questions
What is the AI Trip Planner?
It is a free tool that turns a few answers (destination, length of stay, budget level, pace and interests) into a draft day-by-day itinerary with a rough budget, local dishes to try and practical tips. It is meant as a starting point for your own research.
Do I need an account?
You can look around and fill in the form without signing in. To generate and save a plan you sign in once with Google or an e-mail link, so your plans stay private to you and we can limit abuse.
How accurate are the plans and prices?
The itinerary is written by an AI model, so places, opening hours and travel times can be wrong or out of date, and every price is a rough estimate, not a quote. Always check details with the venue or an official source before you book.
What do you send to the AI?
Only the trip details you choose: destination, optional departure city, length, month, number of travellers, budget level, pace, and the interest, diet and accessibility options you tick. We never send your name or e-mail, and there is no free-text notes field.
Can I share, print or export my plan?
Yes. Each saved plan can be renamed, printed or saved as a PDF, exported to your calendar (when you give exact dates) and shared through a private read-only link that you can switch off at any time.
What do you store about me, and how do I delete it?
When you generate a plan we save the plan, the trip details you chose and a private identifier from your sign-in (your Google or Facebook ID, or a one-way hash of your e-mail address). Nothing else about you is sent to the AI. Plans are kept until you delete them, are never shown in search engines, and are only visible to others if you switch on a share link. From your account page you can download everything as a file or delete your plans and all other data in one step.
How many plans can I generate?
To keep the service free for everyone you can generate 5 plans per hour and 15 per day, and plans cover up to 10 days.
