Day by day
A forecast, not a guarantee: it is most reliable for the next 2-3 days. "Rain" is the chance of measurable rain or snow that day, with the expected total underneath. Open-Meteo data, fetched by our servers.

Weather Tips for Travellers
Layer Your Clothing
Temperatures can swing 10°C+ between day and night. Pack layers you can add or remove easily.
Shoulder Season = Best Value
Visit just before or after peak season for pleasant weather, fewer tourists and lower prices.
Check Rainy Season Patterns
In tropical destinations, "rainy season" often means short daily showers, not all-day rain. Don't rule it out.
Pack for Microclimates
Cities like San Francisco and London can have vastly different weather across neighbourhoods. Bring a light jacket even in summer.
Weather tool FAQ
Where does the weather data come from?
Current conditions, the 7-day forecast and the long-term monthly averages all come from Open-Meteo, a free open weather service. Our servers look the city up and fetch the current reading and the forecast from Open-Meteo, so your browser never contacts Open-Meteo and Open-Meteo never sees your IP address.
How often is the current weather updated?
Current conditions are cached for 30 minutes, so a repeat search can show the same reading for a short while. The temperature is for the city centre point, not your exact street. The forecast is refreshed on the same 30-minute schedule.
How far ahead does the forecast go, and how reliable is it?
You get the next 24 hours hour by hour and 7 days day by day. Forecasts are usually dependable for 2 to 3 days and less so after that. The rain figure is the chance of measurable rain or snow that day, and the amount underneath is the expected total.
Is the Best time to visit chart a forecast?
No. It shows 30-year climate averages (1991-2020) from a climate model, so it describes what a month is typically like, not what will happen on your dates. The best months are our rough pick: mild average temperatures and less rain.
What changes when I switch between °C and °F?
The switch changes everything at once: °C goes with km/h and millimetres of rain, °F goes with mph and inches. Your choice is remembered in this browser.
Can I save places I check often?
Yes. Tap the star next to a city name to save it. Saved places appear above the result as one-tap buttons and are kept only in your browser.
Why can the city search fail?
The name may be misspelled, too small to be in the place database, or the weather service may be briefly unavailable. Try a larger nearby city or add the country, for example Paris, France, then search again.
