About Rendang

Beef is simmered for hours in coconut milk and a paste of chilli, galangal, lemongrass and turmeric until the liquid evaporates and the meat turns dark, tender and intensely flavoured. The Minangkabau dish is a frequent contender for "world's tastiest food".
