Oyakodon
Chicken and egg simmered together over rice.
About Oyakodon
Chicken simmers with onion in a sweet dashi-soy broth, then beaten egg is poured over and cooked just until softly set before sliding onto rice. Its name, parent-and-child bowl, nods to the chicken and egg together.
